ABIM-MOC
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 16 medical knowledge MOC points and patient safety MOC credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

CMD Credit Statement
This live activity has been pre-approved by the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (ABPLM) for a total of 8 management hours and 8 clinical hours toward certification as a Certified Medical Director (CMD) in post-acute and long-term care medicine. Objectives:
• Increase knowledge of movement disorders in patients; use knowledge about sexuality in older adults to improve their sexual health; decrease the morbidity and mortality of geriatric patients with regard to COVID19; recognize common skin conditions in the elderly and be comfortable with management, including appropriate use of antimicrobials.
• Use benzodiazepines, antipsychotics, and opioids appropriately for palliation of symptoms in elderly patients with limited life expectancy.   Increase your knowledge on how and when to effectively deprescribe
• Use all available resources within the health care system to appropriately advocate and care for your patients by staying abreast of changes to the legal system, using strategies to reduce bias, and healthcare disparities in your practice.  Know what decisions patients with dementia can still make, including which legal documents.  Identify three common problems that ombudsmen can help residents address.
