All levels of Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic trainees and also for those considering a career in these specialties.

Description:
This course aims to provide the delegate with skills to manage soft tissue injuries of the hand. It complements the Hand Fracture Fixation course to provide a complete hand trauma management programme.

The following topics will be covered using both sophisticated simulation models and innovatively designed biological dissections:
• Surgical access for different zones in the hand
• Tendon retrieval & repair
• Tendon reconstruction
• Pulley repair/reconstruction
• Nerve repair
• Nerve grafts
• Skin reconstruction
• Complex multi-level injurie

This distinctive course using live video demonstrations, multi-modal magnification and digital technologies that will promote participants to learn/refine skills. Delegates will be offered an opportunity to be assessed using Work Based Assessments or other forms of assessment (for international delegates). This will contribute towards appraisals and career progression.
