International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) Advanced Course in Geriatric Oncology 2021 is organized by International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and will be held from Dec 15 - 18, 2021, 2021 at Achille and Linda Lorenzon Study Center - Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Treviso, Veneto, Italy.

Description:
The SIOG Advanced Course in Geriatric Oncology is designed for professionals who want to stay at the peak of their expertise. The course is a CME accredited training programme lead by international experts in the field of geriatrics and oncology designed to provide specific skills in assessment, care pathways and therapeutic choices for older patients with cancer. This 2-phase advanced course covers the general principles of cancer treament using case-based discussions in geriatrics for clinical oncologists as well as in clinical oncology for geriatricians.

Course Programme:
• A common module addressed to clinical oncologists and geriatricians
• Two separate modules each for clinical oncologists and geriatricians
• Common case presentations and discussions
• Case selections and their presentations by the course faculty
• Subdivision of the participants in groups for internal anaylsis of cases for presentations of conclusions and general discussion

• Master aspects of cancer medicine for geriatricians
• Access insights and applications of geriatric principles to clinical oncology
• Gain a solid understanding of collaboration models between medical oncologists and geriatricians
