Friday, October 15th, 2021 Day 1: Participation Course Pulp Therapy for Primary Molars and Young Permanent Molars:
Course Objectives:
• List and describe the steps and indications for a Biodentine pulpotomy
• Know the indications, contraindications, and the steps for an indirect pulp cap
• Describe the steps for a Slot Prep using GIC and new restorative materials
• List and describe the steps of the Hall Technique
• Describe the indications and the steps for Silver Diamine Fluoride and when to use the SMART Technique
• Become familiar with the handling properties of a Tricalcium silicate, Biodentine, from Septodont
Saturday, October 16th, 2021 Day 2: Participation Course Interceptive Orthodontics in Pediatric Dentistry:
Course Objectives:
• Determine the appropriate diagnostic records needed for a specific case
• Learn how to place and position bands on molars
• Learn how to take an impression with bands of molars
• Learn how and where to place sticky wax in bands before pouring up in yellow stone
• Learn how to write a prescription for a mandibular and maxillary space maintainer, for an RPE, and a single maxillary tooth in lingual cross-bite
