Medical Mission Overview: An Orientation to International Aide Work is organized by Remote Care Education. This Onsite medical conference will be held from Mar 21 - 27, 2021 at Floating Doctors, Bocas del Toro, Panama.

Targeted Audience:
This conference is absolute for experienced and inexperienced medical practitioners fundamentally from internal medicine, emergency medicine, family practice, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology who have a passion to effectively participate in providing quality healthcare in the remote setting, especially in tropical areas.

Description:
This interactive course is devised to combine hands-on training alongside the experienced Floating Doctors staff with classroom didactics guard by an international staff of extremely trained and experienced physicians. Once onsite, there will be a total of four days of classroom studies, interpreting perspectives on most excellent practices for distant care diagnostics and treatments, two-and-a-half hours of hands-on portable ultrasound techniques, and two days of hands-on training in foreign clinics where learners will be matched with a Lead Medical Provider with the Floating Doctors.
Educational Objectives:
Following the conclusion of this activity, learners should be better able to:
• Design and organize your own medical mission.
• Diagnose conditions applying portable ultrasound.
• Explain how to recognize and treat common presentations in remote settings without hospital support.
• Examine tools and resources for the diagnoses and treatment of conditions outside your specialty in remote settings.
