We look forward to welcoming you to our kick-off event "Cardio meets gastro - cardiological-gastroenterological discourse". As cardiologists, gastroenterologists, general practitioners and general practitioners, we are confronted on a daily basis with patients who have to be treated with oral anticoagulants or platelet inhibitors due to cardiac and / or vascular diseases. What from the cardiologist's point of view is an absolute necessity in the case of stent implantation and / or atrial fibrillation can cause the gastroenterologist major problems if the patient presents with gastrointestinal bleeding. With this innovative advanced training event, we would like to promote the exchange between cardiologists and gastroenterologists as well as general practitioners and general internalists with regard to this sensitive "cutting issue" around oral anticoagulation / platelet inhibition and its indication, as well as gastrointestinal bleeding and its treatments, and learn from each other. In the end, there is always the best possible care for the patient, something that is important to us all.

wir freuen uns, Sie zu unserer Auftaktveranstaltung „Kardio trifft Gastro – kardiologisch-gastroenterologischer Diskurs“ begru?ßen zu du?rfen. Sowohl in Klinik als auch Praxis werden wir als Kardiologen, Gastroenterologen, Allgemeininternisten und Hausärzte täglich mit Patienten konfrontiert, die aufgrund von kardialen und/oder vaskulären Erkrankungen mit oralen Antikoagulanzien oder Plättchenhemmern behandelt werden mu?ssen. Was aus Sicht des Kardiologen im Falle von Stentimplantationen und/oder Vorhofflimmern eine absolute Notwendigkeit ist, beschert dem Gastroenterologen unter Umständengroße Probleme, wenn der Patient mit gastrointestinaler Blutung vorstellig wird. Wir möchten mit dieser neuartigen Fortbildungsveranstaltung den Austausch zwischen Kardiologen und Gastroenterologen aber auch Hausärzten und Allgemeininternisten in Bezug auf dieses sensible „Schnittthema“ rund um die orale Antikoagulation/Plättchenhemmung und deren Indikation sowie darunter auftretende gastrointestinale Blutungen und deren Behandlungen fördern und gegenseitig voneinander lernen. Am Ende steht immer die optimale Versorgung des Patienten, die uns allen am Herzen liegt.
