The 60th Annual Meeting Japanese Retina and Vitreous Society (JRVS) is organized by Japanese Retina and Vitreous Society (JRVS), JTB Communication Design, Inc. and will be held from Dec 03 - 05, 2021 at Tokyo International Forum, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan.

Description:
This is the 60th general meeting since the retinal detachment study group held in 1963. As you all know, during this period, Japanese retinal vitreous researchers have made significant contributions to ophthalmic research and medical care around the world. As the 60th commemorative project, for teachers who have made great achievements in the development of retinal vitreous research / medical care and are still active in various positions, their work, their background, and the next generation We have planned a "Message from the Legend" to tell you what you want to convey to.

The symposium is a great place to discuss cutting-edge topics. At Symposium 1 "Approaching the pathophysiology of macular disease," the leading teachers of the current academic society will enthusiastically talk about the pathophysiology of macular disease. Symposium 2 "Revolutionary Retinal Research" will be attended by young researchers who will give lectures on cutting-edge research that will change retinal vitreous research / medical care. We are also preparing two educational lectures, "Diagnosis of retinal vitreous disease" and "Surgical treatment of retinal vitreous disease".

We aim to be an academic society that inherits the history and traditions of the past and contributes to the development of retinal vitreous research in the future. In 2020, there were many academic societies that could not be held locally due to the spread of the new corona infection. In December of this year, we will make diligent preparations to make the general meeting meaningful for everyone as a place for lively discussions and exchanges.
