Friday is mainly determined by interventional topics with "live in the box" cases from cardiology to complex coronary interventions, ablative procedures and a new modality for TAVI implantation. The current status of a TASH in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, new drugs and current aspects of inflammation in atherosclerotic diseases are further topics.

On Saturday we will introduce you to a new method for percutaneous revascularization of calcified lesions, we will deal with the detection and treatment of microvascular disorders in the heart and we will take a look into the future with regard to new transcatheter valve systems.

Renal denervation is experiencing a revival and will play a role in certain patient groups with arterial hypertension. New substances for the therapy of heart failure and the current study situation in patients with HFpEF are presented. For the early detection of familial hypercholesterolemia, we are carrying out a Bavaria-wide screening program in children and would like to present the 1-year data to you here (VRONI study) as well as a new option for permanent lowering of LDL cholesterol. Before we finally deal with the "Late Breakers" from the annual meeting of the AHA, we will present the results of a study in which for the first time it is possible to speak of truly personalized medicine, the Dal-GenE study.
