First Year Fellows Endoscopy Course is organized by American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and will be held on Aug 08, 2021 at ASGE Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T), Downers Grove, Illinois, United States of America.
Overview:
ASGE is continuing its tradition of offering a comprehensive review of endoscopic technique and clinical management for fellows in their first year of a US-based GI fellowship. Upper and lower endoscopy and case-based endoscopic intervention form the basis of the curriculum. Foreign body management, diagnostic upper endoscopy, and advanced techniques will also be addressed. The program offers a unique hands-on training session using ex-vivo animal models at the ASGE Institute for Training & Technology (IT&T). First Year Fellows may choose to attend in-person or participate virtually. Space will be limited to 50 fellows per course this year for in-person, and unlimited registration for virtual participation. ASGE has put in place additional safety measures following the recommendations of the CDC and the Illinois Department of Public Health rules and regulations. Participants will receive a copy of the course recording within 7-10 business days from the course date.
