This annual 4-day conference held in the summer, called the DEF Essential Resource Meeting (also known as DERM), is the Clinically Relevant and Practical Case-Based Dermatology NP and PA CME Education Experience™ you don’t want to miss! More than 25 hours of CME/CE credit makes this an annual necessity for NPs and PAs, including a dermoscopy course and many discussion sessions on more than thirty diseases and conditions in dermatology, as well as ample time to meet and interact with dermatology companies and manufacturers in our exhibit hall and social functions

Global Educational Objectives:
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
• Through case-based presentation and discussion panels, summarize updates in diagnosis, classification, therapies, and immune-system targets in psoriasis, PsA, and AD and describe their clinical implications.
• Cite the mechanisms of action of various drugs that are commonly prescribed by dermatologists and devices that are used by dermatology medical health professionals to treat skin conditions.
• Define appropriate outcome measures for the optimal follow-up of patients with dermatologic diseases as well as those receiving cosmetic procedures in order to improve healthcare outcomes.
• Experience demonstrations and participate in discussion when utilizing dermoscopy and toxins/fillers in order to improve core competency for the medical provider and ultimately maximize patient and healthcare outcomes.
