Description:
Challenging patient problems may occur after a traumatic craniofacial injury that may not be solvable. Surgeons must be able to adopt and implement best practices to facilitate optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction in these complex clinical scenarios. Managing patient expectations and effectively communicating the limitations of interventions and their impact on patient outcomes is critically important. Expert faculty will discuss case scenarios that focus on continuity of care as well as system and patient challenges and barriers.
