The Community Cancer Education (CCE), Inc. will organize the 33rd Annual Fall Foliage Cancer Conference at The Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, North Carolina, United States of America.
This conference will be held from October 15th and 16th of 2021.
Statement of Need and Target Audience:
A faculty of physicians, distinguished as teachers and oncologists, will share their knowledge and experience at this two-day seminar. The course is designed to give the practicing physician a review of the current treatment management of Sarcoma and Melanoma.
Learner Objective:
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be better able to:
• Describe emerging developments in immunotherapy for soft-tissue sarcoma.
• Recognize updates in radiation therapy treatments for sarcoma.
• Identify recent updates in surgical management of soft-tissue sarcoma.
• Review current treatment options in the treatment of Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST).
• Discuss updates in gene expression profiling for melanoma.
• Describe updates in surgical management of the regional nodal basin for melanoma.
• Recall advances in the diagnosis and management of melanoma.
• Identify updates in immunotherapy treatments for melanoma.
• Evaluate advances in radiation therapy for the treatment of melanoma.
• Discuss the therapeutic advancements in targeted therapy for melanoma.
