Description:
The Psychology, Health & Medicine conference is a one-day annual conference event. the conference is hosted by the Division of Health Psychology of the Psychological Society of Ireland in association with the Division of Health Psychology of the British Psychological Society, Northern Ireland Branch. The conference draws an interdisciplinary audience from Ireland and abroad each year. Attendee numbers have ranged from approximately 100-200 in recent years and it is expected that 230 delegates will attend the 2021 conference in Cork due to the online format (and based on online attendance at similar online conferences to date), the confirmed keynote line-up, and the collaboration of the Schools of Applied Psychology and Public Health UCC in hosting the conference. In its 18th year the aim of this conference is to provide a forum to share findings from high-quality innovative research on psychology and health, and highlight the varied contributions of health psychology to health research, policy and practice on the Island of Ireland.
