Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine: 30 PRPD, 30 Radiology MOPS. Procedural grant: 1-day Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics, Surgery or Obstetrics components. (ACRRM ID: 10113 Sydney; 11244 Nihiwatu; 11242 Perth; 10473 Melbourne)

Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists: Participants in the ANZCA CPD program, may claim this course under the Short course, workshops, problem-based learning discussions and small group discussion at 2 credits per hour, online component at 1 credit per hour.

Course Overview:
Despite the technological advancements in medical imaging, the chest X-Ray remains the most frequently requested radiological investigation, and one of, if not the most difficult to interpret correctly. This course provides a comprehensive review of the fundamental principles in chest X-Ray interpretation and reporting. Interactive multimedia live group sessions are undertaken with lectures. The goal of the course is to provide practitioners with the confidence to recognise a normal chest X-Ray, common patterns of disease, and specific radiographic changes in commonly encountered clinical settings.
