Update on Global Health - CME Cruise - 4th Annual is organized by Columbia University Department of Medicine and will be held from Jan 12 - 19, 2020 at 7-Night Caribbean Cruise, Miami, Florida, United States of America. This Conference has been approved for a maximum of 15 credits.

Program Overview:
The Armenian Heritage Cruise (AHC) in collaboration with Columbia University brings together a Global Health initiative with a focus on the Armenian program model. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive review of the most important advances made in health care. A series of highly educational and informative lectures will cover key areas of health care in Armenia. They will discuss how model programs in skeletal health, women’s health, cardiology, and dental health were developed in Armenia and how these programs can serve as model programs throughout the world. The program will be of interest and importance to all health care professionals interested in global health challenges of our time as exemplified by these initiatives. The conference aims to prepare participants with tools in Global Health issues by addressing each major specialty. Much of the material will be presented in lecture format by the best teachers and clinicians. In addition, each specialty will have a case-based question and answer session using an interactive computer-based system. This system will allow you (anonymously) to test your knowledge in the different areas of medicine.

Learning Objectives:
• To provide the latest information on nutritional, epidemiological, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of osteoporosis.
• Discuss and integrate knowledge of common public health problems that affect women with preventative approaches to treating them.
• Understand the role of interventional and medical therapies in the management of cardiovascular disease.
• Give insight into dental hygiene who are living in settings that do not lend themselves to identification, treatment, and prevention.

Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
