Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

• Summarize new management recommendations for bacterial gastrointestinal infections
• Review evidence-based literature about pediatric infectious diseases published over the past year
• Summarize new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis
• Identify zoonoses seen in humans, including their diagnosis and management
• Review cases for which pediatric infectious disease guidance has been sought over the phone
