Annual Congress of the South African Thoracic Society (SATS) is organized by Europa Organisation Africa (EOA) and will be held from Aug 13 - 16, 2020 at Century City Conference Centre, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

Description:
It is with great pleasure that we introduce the annual congress of the South African Thoracic Society, SATS2020. The SATS Congress represents the summit of thoracic medicine in Africa, attended by hundreds of delegates annually, from all fields of thoracic medicine throughout Africa.

Unique to SATS 2020 will be the one-day Intensive Care Update, which will be endorsed by the Critical Care Society of Southern Africa (CCSSA). In addition, the congress will feature Pre-Congress Workshops on Mechanical ventilation, Bronchoscopy (endorsed by Interventional Pulmonology South Africa) and Lung function testing.

SATS2020 will welcome both international and local experts in the plenary and parallel sessions, which will focus on intensive care, pulmonary vascular disease, respiratory infections, interstitial lung diseases, lung transplantation, lung cancer, asthma, COPD and many other respiratory topics.

The congress with provide African researchers with the opportunity to showcase their research and expand their networks, through the research posters and oral presentations.
