Rush University's Faculty Affairs Office is equally committed to the student learning experience and the professional development of our faculty. Over the last 5 years, we have partnered with exceptional faculty educators from around the Chicago-land area to provide faculty with intensive training to elevate and enhance their teaching skills. With years of course development and validation, this bootcamp offers evidence-based and highly interactive sessions with large- and small-group break outs.
This three-day CE-eligible bootcamp focuses on key topics necessary for cutting edge interprofessional education: the evolution of learning theories, creating effective objectives and assessments, course organization and delivering constructive feedback to learners, among others. The intended audience is faculty in Health Care Academic Institutions who are involved in various teaching modalities and settings. Participants will walk away with concrete tools and contemporary best practices that can be immediately applied in their daily educational endeavors.
