Description
The symposium offers the newest insights into pulmonary rehabilitation, it brings together the perspectives of both clinicians and physiotherapists. Attendees are provided with a thorough overview of treatment delivery by considering the current guidelines in the field, promising new tools and approaches.

Learning outcomes:
By the end of the conference, a participant must be able to,
• Define the optimal implementation of overall pulmonary rehabilitation therapies for patients with chronic obstructive and restrictive lung diseases.
• Explain the different segments of pulmonary rehabilitation and the required tools to evaluate the efficacy of the intervention
• Launch in clinical practice and novel patient outcomes and methods for estimating daily physical activity in patients with chronic obstructive and restrictive lung diseases
• Perform physical activity measurements to analyze the patient's functional performance before and after pulmonary rehabilitation
• Understand the significance of adverse effects on functional capacity caused by abnormal hemodynamic function in patients with chronic obstructive and restrictive lung diseases
• Create a comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation program, taking into account patients' abilities and preferences, among a health care system
• Adapt programs to include comorbidities and other non-respiratory problems
• Propose strategies to enhance physical activity in individuals with lung disease
• Recognize the barriers that prevent patients to enroll and complete pulmonary rehabilitation programs
• Understand ways to increase awareness and the benefits associated with pulmonary rehabilitation among health professionals and patients
