ObesityWeek 2020

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no in-person meeting in Atlanta in November 2020 – neither the ASMBS 2020 Annual Meeting nor The Obesity Society plan to meet in person. The ASMBS will not be participating in the virtual meeting that The Obesity Society is calling the Annual Meeting of The Obesity Society at ObesityWeek® 2020.

The ASMBS members, when surveyed last January, showed a strong preference to return the ASMBS Annual Meeting to the May/June timeframe and so we will plan for our next ASMBS Annual Meeting to be May/June 2021. Hopefully, that will be in person. Deadlines for submission of abstracts and other details for the 2021 meeting will follow as arrangements are finalized.

ObesityWeek 2020 is organized by The Obesity Society (TOS), American Society For Metabolic And Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). The session will be held from Nov 02 - 06, 2020 at Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America.
