30th Medical Informatics Europe conference (MIE) is organized by European Federation for Medical Informatics Association (EFMI) and will be held from Apr 28 - May 01, 2020 at Geneva's International Conference Center, Geneva, Switzerland.

Course Description:
MIE2020 is the largest European conference on medical informatics. It usually attracts more than 600 people from all around the world.

This year the topic is Personalized Health opens wide area of science, technology, business, and societal fields. A rich choice of sessions will drive you through the challenges of big data, from data acquisition to complex analytics, from knowledge discovery to treatments and risk assessment. Amongst many others, the sessions will cover:
• natural language processing to action the power of free texts using hybrid artificial intelligence techniques;
• data representation to leverage semantic interoperability;
• FHIR to move towards shared patient record for care and research;

The conference will also put the citizen at the center, and cover topics such as:
• human-machine interaction;
• interfaces and mobile health;
• human factors and impacts.
