Discovering Approaches in Client-Centered Care
Today’s methods of addiction recovery have a strong clinical component, from monitored detox through long-term psychotherapeutic interventions. Decades of research have shown that individuals in recovery have better outcomes when they participate in clinically driven treatment and incorporate clinical therapies into their care. As clinical providers and professionals, it is our responsibility to make sure the care we provide is cutting-edge, effective and up to modern standards of excellence.

CORE is an opportunity for addiction professionals to work together to advance these principles of client-centered treatment. The talks, panels, discussions and workshops we host are aimed at highlighting the critical importance of providing individualized treatment, and at presenting new options for productively integrating useful clinical tools into a larger recovery-oriented treatment culture. We focus on improving treatment through a robust clinical foundation while maintaining a passion for delivering advanced behavioral, addiction, and therapeutic services.

As a forum, CORE aims to increase the collective understanding of the full continuum of recovery processes, including 12 step recovery. Our goal is to improve outcomes by better integrating personalized, evidence-based treatment services that allow individuals, families, and professionals to choose the most appropriate treatment for each client.

The CORE agenda covers a variety of topics including specific therapeutic approaches, treatment techniques for co-occurring disorders, traditional versus experiential therapies and business-side best practices. Our presenters include licensed mental health counselors, master’s and doctoral level providers, social workers, therapists and other leaders in the field.
