Arizona Geriatrics Society (AZGS) Spring Conference - Dementia 2020 is organized by Arizona Geriatrics Society (AzGS) and will be held on May 01, 2020 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tucson - Reid Park, Tucson, Arizona, United States of America.

About the Event:
The AZGS Spring Conference will focus on dementia issues for the upcoming decade. There will be a keynote presentation of the pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of dementia as well as a look to future directions. Medication management of dementia will also be reviewed. Determining capacity in patients with cognitive impairment, and assessing driver safety will be addressed. There will be a panel presentation regarding legal aspects of dementia care, long term care insurance, and the ins and outs of ALTCS (Arizona Long Term Care). Information will also be presented on new approaches to dementia care in the primary care and emergency department setting. Continuing education approval is being requested for AMA/AAFP credit, nursing CE credits, NASW credits, CCMC credits, and long term care credits.
