The 30th American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) Annual Meeting is organized by the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). This Onsite medical conference will be held from Nov 05 - 08, 2020 at Hilton Anatole, Dallas, Texas, United States of America.
What is the significance of 30th American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) Annual Meeting?
The 30th AAHKS Annual Meeting will take place in November – whether it’s in person, virtual or a hybrid. The Program Committee is struggling every day to build a flexible program that maintains the high-quality, cutting-edge content that is the hallmark of the AAHKS Annual Meeting.
The Annual Meeting of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons discusses a broad array of scientific topics such as implant design, outcomes, surgical techniques and complications of primary and revision total joint arthroplasty (TJA) for hip and knee surgeons. The meeting discusses the most advanced socioeconomic problems in health care. Special courses are also offered for residents, non-physician team members, and surgeon administrators. Held in Dallas in November each year, the Annual Meeting attracts around 4,000 total attendees.
• Through interactive media highlighting peer-reviewed publications, attendees will discover how our knowledge of native knee kinematics has developed dramatically over the last 20 years. Participants will earn a modern understanding of natural knee motion, which exhibits lateral pivot kinematics in early flexion activities such as walking and running.
• Through discussion and review of published literature, we will highlight the association between aseptic loosening and cementing onto a damp & fatty bone bed. Participants will have the opportunity to demo instrumentation, which dries and cleans the bone leading to increased cement penetration, and bone-cement interface strength.
• Through a review of clinical research study results, attendees will be able to discuss the 97% patient satisfaction outcomes with sensor-assisted TKA compared to the 81% patient satisfaction with manual TKA found in peer-reviewed publications from 2004 to the present. By enhancing intra-operative ligament balance in primary TKA, our product may mitigate the economic burden to the healthcare system due to early revision surgery.
• Through booth interaction, participants will be able to distinguish the OR time savings for the surgeon and facility with our system as compared to intra-operatively molded spacer designs. Economic and efficiency data will be implemented to support this comparison.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
