Allergic skin disease in 2020 is organized by Imperial College London. The symposium is held from Jun 01 - 02, 2020 at St Mary's Hospital, London, England, United Kingdom.

Who Should Attend:
The session is intended for doctors (GPs, specialist trainees and consultants in Allergy, Paediatrics, Dermatology), as well as nurses and other healthcare professionals wishing to improve their ability to manage patients with allergic skin diseases in daily practice.

Course Aims:
At the conclusion of the session, participants must be able to, 
• Describe the interaction between genetics, skin barrier and environmental factors (such as microbiome, early nutrition, hygiene practices, and allergen exposure) in the pathogenesis of allergic skin diseases
• Recite pathogenic administrators to potential preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for allergic skin diseases
• Device diagnostic and management plans to discuss complex or uncommon scenarios in practice such as chronic eczema, refractory urticaria, mastocytosis, or hereditary angioedema
• Evaluate the performance of food allergy in atopic eczema in children and adults and form a diagnostic and therapeutic plan
• Implement current research findings in allergic skin diseases to improve patient care in clinical practice

Course Sturcture:
Allergy short courses are addressed in a blended format through a mixture of face-to-face and online teaching.  You will attend 2 days teaching at Imperial College London where prominent experts will deliver lectures and interactive sessions with question & answer elements, quizzes, and case-based discussions. For a limited time after the course, you will have access online to all lecture notes and presentations, lecture recordings and other e-resources to enable flexible learning.
