Description:
With so many different choices in restorative materials, it can be difficult to select and ideal material for different clinical situations. Each material has its strengths and weaknesses; some are ideally suited for the posterior, some for the anterior. Some are highly esthetic, while others are very strong. I plan on reviewing the most common restorative materials in use today, their applications and any special handling properties.

Course Objectives:
• Recognize the properties of multiple restorative materials.
• Identify the selection criteria for the materials.
• Recognize the limitations of the ceramics presented.
• How to handle the discussed dental ceramics.
