PEDICON 2020: 57th Annual Conference of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics is organized by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). The session is held from Jan 09 - 12, 2020 at Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Course Description:
The Indore Academy of Paediatrics holds the privilege of hosting Pedicon in 2014 as well. Pedicon 2014 was known for the top-of-the-line conference with unmatched hospitality, various kinds of tasty but hygienic food, starting a healthy trend of submission of audited accounts in historical 7 months as a well healthy aim of saving the highest amount of money for charity activities of CIAP. Driving on the booming success of 2014, we assure you an engaging dialogue this time as well.

It is an inspiring time for Pediatrics, as there are branched which again categorized into various subspecialties, each holding a chapter in the IAP and a strong number of motivated pediatric subspecialists or ‘super-specialists’. We have taken great paces in our fields and our results are comparable with any country in the world. This has been achieved because all of us remain to adapt and devise our skill set to the current issues in the healthcare setup in India and globally.

Besides the decrease in  U5 MR, IMR, NMR & Some important issues e.g. intact survival, quality improvement, etc. continue to concern us and need urgent attention with the potential need of a solution. Thus, the theme for Pedicon 2020 is aptly titled as “Quality Child C.A.R.E” which denotes: C-Comprehensive, A-Accessible, R-Relevant, and E-Economical.

Pedicon 2020 will be cherished for so many good things. In order to address the burning issues, we will have robust scientific programs embedded with skilled sessions. Almost 26 workshops are planned with modern curriculum and faculties of International standards. Our CIAP President-2020 Dr. Bakul Parekh will have another 4-5 exciting TOTs under his action plan 2020. IAP Indore will have so many funding activities during Pedicon 2020 with a free consultation by National & International experts and for the delivery of free medicines to needy children.
