29th Annual Cleveland Review of Rheumatic Diseases is organized by The MetroHealth System and will be held from Dec 18 - 19, 2020 at Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower, Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America.

Target Audience:
This comprehensive review is directed to rheumatologists, primary care physicians, rheumatology fellows, nurses and allied health care professionals.

The MetroHealth System is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The MetroHealth System designates this educational activity for a maximum of 11.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Objectives Of Conference:
At the conclusion of these activities attendees should be able to:
• Describe the recent advances of targeted biological /cellular therapies in rheumatoid arthritis and in systemic lupus erythematosus, particularly in terms of treatment efficacy and toxicity
• Understand the recent updates in pathogenesis of lupus, and gout with bettering understanding of new targeted therapies
• Describe chronic viral infections that are associated with rheumatic disease and identify those that may be prevented by existing vaccines;
• Present strategies and safe treatments to control arthritis and arthritis related disorders during pregnancy
• Recognize axial spondyloarthritis and distinguish it from other disorders mimicking sacroiliitis
• Update the recent advances about Biologic DMARD use in uveitis;
• Identify primary and secondary lung manifestations associated with rheumatic disease and how to monitor the diseases and their therapies
• Identify newer treatments available for osteoporosis and duration of treatment.
