27th International Conference of Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPCON 2020) is organized by Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) and will be held from Feb 14 - 16, 2020 at Guwahati Medical College Hospital, Guwahati (Gauhati), Assam, India.

Description:
The theme of the Conference is "Entrust, Engage & Empower". It signifies teamwork and multidisciplinary approach to palliative care and the power to be an inclusive specialty. The objective of the Conference are:

Improve and expand existing knowledge and skills of individuals working in Palliative care.
• Augment the ability to provide professional, competent and empathetic care to patients and their families.
• Ensure timely delivery of Palliative care in the community by advocating and facilitating increased consciousness about palliative care.
• Take up collective responsibility to ensure availability of essential drugs in palliative care.
• Provide and opportunity and platform for informal caregivers to learn about palliative care.
