24th Annual McGill University Update in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery - Mont Tremblant March 2020 is organized by McGill University Health Centre. The session commences from Mar 20 - 22, 2020 at Fairmont Tremblant, Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. This CME Conference has been assigned for a maximum of 11 Credits.
Course Description:
The mission of the session is to present an updated and effective approach to diagnose the commonly encountered therapeutic problems that are found during the practice of otolaryngologists. Particular topics in the other otolaryngology subspecialties will be conferred by the experts in the field. Interactive panel/audience discussions throughout the case presentations will follow. Selected moderators will guide the discussion and encourage registrant participation. The facilitators include a large faculty from various academic centers.
Course Objectives:
Registrants will gain an understanding of current diagnostic and management principles in general otolaryngology and in the following subspecialties,
• Rhinology
• Laryngology
• Head and Neck Oncology
• Facial Plastics
Didactic presentations and/or panel discussions will be given on the following topics,
• treatment options in epistaxis
• geriatric voice
• neurolaryngology
• non-malignant salivary gland disorders/challenging cases
• challenging case studies
• facial nerve paralysis
• recurrent Bell's palsy
• nerve schwannoma
• medical marijuana
• alternative therapies
