Description:
PUCC 2020 offers an incredibly diverse variety of lectures, workshops, and small groups with three concurrent tracks to choose from: Core Concepts, Emerging Concepts, and Practice Management. The first two tracks are clinically focused; Core Concepts provides the fundamentals for practitioners who are newer to the field of pediatrics, while Emerging Concepts offers more cutting-edge content for advanced clinicians. Practice Management provides the nuts and bolts for creating and managing a successful pediatric urgent care practice, catering to administrators, service excellence officers, investors, and others in leaderships positions within healthcare organizations. Our pre-conference will focus on leadership challenges in medicine and teach you how to become a leader in your field. In addition, an entire day in Practice Management will be devoted to improving the Patient Experience in your organization with the opportunity for PXE credits. Come learn from the experts who have created some of the most successful urgent care groups in the country!
Our high-yield didactic sessions will be supplemented with interactive breakout sessions and roundtable discussions, so learners can gain first-hand knowledge from experts in their respective fields. In addition the numerous workshops at PUCC will allow for hands-on training in various clinical and procedural skills, including, basic & advanced suturing, splinting, foreign body removal, joint reductions, and X-ray/EKG interpretation.
