Description:
Pre-Conference Workshop (Half Day or Full Day)
Description: A presentation is outlined to actively connect the attendees in all the structured activities, small or large group processes, simulation, and/or other training elements. The presentation must have an indication of a meaningful rationale and/or theoretical base holding the activities, as well as the knowledge concerning the active and meaningful experience planned for attendees. This presentation welcomes you to present either a half-day or full-day extensive pre-conference workshop and is designed as a more advanced skills training. 

Time: 
Half-Day: 4 hours (4.0 CEs)
Full-Day: 8 Hours (7.0 CEs plus one-hour lunch on-own)

SIG Presentation: 
Description: A paper presentation on a particular Special Interest Group (SIG) subspecialty. This 90-minute gathering will include 30 minutes of networking and 60 minutes of presentations, for a total of 1.0 CE.

Recognize the opportunities to efficiently integrate cutting-edge research strategies into practice, policy and service delivery across the spectrum of cancer care.

Describe examples of fresh strategies that will allow the oncology professional to deliver high-quality patient and family-centered care.
• Leadership:
Demonstrate innovative models of leadership across the oncology care continuum in areas of mentorship, program development, change management, conflict management, administration, and executive leadership.
• Access to Care: 
Explain innovations in psycho-social oncology that discuss disparities and entrance to care amongst vulnerable populations.
• Advocacy & Health Policy:
Review emerging visions for oncology care, nationally and globally, and explore partnership opportunities that allow oncology social workers to advocate for and effect change in the delivery of cancer care.
• The Future of Oncology Social Work:
Authorize psycho-social oncology professionals to grow as we face a changing healthcare landscape, global
connectivity and the power of social media, and the rapid evolution of cancer treatment.
