Wisconsin Urological Society (WUS) 2019 Annual Meeting is organized by Wisconsin Urological Society (WUS) and will be held from Mar 16 - 17, 2019 at The Edgewater, Madison, Wisconsin, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Educational Needs:
Urologists require continuing educational enrichment to keep abreast of the developments in the field. Urology is rapidly changing and new medications, chemotherapy, surgical techniques and technology have a great impact on patient care as well as health care economics. Urologists must assimilate this knowledge and make medical decisions for the best intentions of the patient. Often this translation of knowledge is facilitated by academic centers to community urologists. Specifically, urologists must be aware of complex issues in voiding dysfunction, pediatric urology, issues related to urologic oncology (Penile carcinoma, bladder cancer, prostate cancer and kidney cancer), reconstructive urology, infertility, and stone disease.

Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of the WUS 2019 meeting, attendees should be able to:
• Describe the contemporary surgical management of locally advanced and metastatic renal cell carcinoma.
• Discuss the surgical treatment of high-risk prostate cancer.
• Explain the surgical and non-surgical options for treatment of challenging cases in advanced prostate cancer.
• Describe appropriate opioid prescribing following urological surgery.
• Explain options, techniques, and challenges in performing minimally invasive surgery for neurogenic bladder and bowel.
• Discuss strategies for improving patient selection for urological surgery.
• Discuss current guideline recommendations for the treatment of both early and later stage prostate cancer, including CRPC and factors associated with treatment selection, including disease progression, prior therapy, and patient characteristics.
• Evaluate safety and efficacy data from recent clinical trials for CRPC in the front-line and later settings with currently approved agents, novel agents, and combination therapies.
• Develop treatment plans which incorporate tumor, patient, and treatment-related factors throughout the spectrum of prostate cancer.
• Describe strategies to improve interdisciplinary care, including appropriate referrals and patient education with the goal of providing optimal therapeutic management for patients with prostate cancer.
