Update on Anterior Segment Surgery is organized by Doheny Eye Institute (DEI) and will be held on May 18, 2019 at Moseley-Salvatori Conference Center, Los Angeles, California, United States of America.
This comprehensive half day course for ophthalmologists will focus on anterior segment surgery and therapeutic practices. Program topics will include advancements in intraocular lens technology for cataract and refractive procedures to manage patients with multiple ocular comorbidities, efficient regimens for pre and post-op care, and managing complications and challenging cases in cataract, refractive, and glaucoma surgery.
Conference Objectives:
• Compare and contrast technologies of currently available IOL’s
• Identify different strategies for correcting astigmatism
• Determine when ocular surface disease needs to be treated prior to cataract surgery
• Describe current refractive surgery modalities and how to select the best procedure for your patient
