OVERVIEW

University of Colorado Stroboscopy And FEES Course is organized by University of Colorado School of Medicine - Department of Otolaryngology and will be held from May 17 - 18, 2019 at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, Colorado, United States of America. This program has been approved for 1.35 ASHA CEUs (intermediate level; professional area).

Course Overview:
This course will include both lecture and hands-on exposure to video stroboscopy and FEES. There will be eight-hours of hands-practice in a small group setting with direct instruction from experts - physicians and speech-language pathologists - in the field of laryngology. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and refine skills in both flexible and riding endoscopy, as well as heighten their skills in the interpretation of stroboscopy and FEES.

Learning Objectives:
• Develop an intermediate level of skills in interpreting Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing.
• Demonstrate basic endoscopic techniques for the use of rigid and flexible laryngeal endoscopy.
• Develop an intermediate level of skill in interpreting laryngeal stroboscopy.
