Course Description:
Pleural disease is common and frequently difficult to manage well.  This course is aimed at practising clinicians: trainee,  consultants and nurse specialists

The international faculty will bring together the most recent research with the experience of practicing clinicians from around the world to bear on this rapidly evolving area of respiratory medicine. It will explore  common problems encountered in treating pleural disease.

The sessions were designed to be interactive and maximized the opportunity for group discussion informed by the latest research and ideas about pleural disease.

The course programme discussed pleural disease from basic diagnostic methods to controversies in the management of infection, malignancy, and pneumothorax.
