UCSF Imaging Update in Wine Country is organized by The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Office of Continuing Medical Education and will be held from Aug 26 - 30, 2019 at Silverado Resort and Spa, Napa, California, United States of America.

Accreditation:
UCSF designates this live activity for a maximum of 25.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™ Physicians should claim only the credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 
The total credits are inclusive of 9.0 in CT, 11.25 in MR, 0.75 in Ultrasound and 3.0 in Breast Imaging.

Self-Assessment (SAM) This course will offer 25 Self-Assessment credits (pending approval and subject to change): 5.25 in Abdominal, 3.0 in Breast, 2.25 in Interventional, 6.0 in Musculoskeletal, 5.5 in Neuro and 3.0 in Thoracic. As of January 1, 2013, updated MOC Part 2 requirements: 75 CME credits every three years, at least 25 of which must be self-assessment activities.

Description:
This five-day course, featuring the breadth and depth of UCSF Radiology is designed for practicing radiologists in the community and covers fundamentals and pitfalls of state-of-the-art imaging, as well as hot-topics in short, focused sessions. Lecture topics will present a thorough review of abdominal, musculoskeletal, neuro, pulmonary and breast imaging for the general radiologist; as well as commonly interventional procedures. Course content will focus on appropriate imaging technique and utilization, as well as standard protocols.

Objectives:
At the completion of the course, the attendee should be able:
• Select guidelines and protocols for cancer imaging, with focus on breast, lung, endometrium and cervix;
• Recommend up-to-date imaging approaches to trauma and emergency conditions and masses of the
brain, orbits and spine;
• Recognize imaging pearls and pitfalls in joint injuries of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle, as well as utilize musculoskeletal ultrasound;
• Identify fundamentals and criteria for imaging of the acute abdomen, including pregnant women;
• Implement updated guidelines for imaging of abdominal trauma, infections and infl ammatory bowel disease
