The STS Annual Meeting is the preeminent educational event in cardiothoracic surgery. The meeting features interactive learning on hot topics, including thought-provoking lectures from renowned faculty and guests, exciting hands-on sessions, an abundance of networking opportunities, and a chance to view the latest products and services in the specialty.

Highlights and changes for 2019:
• The meeting will be held Sunday through Tuesday, allowing more time for busy professionals to spend with their patients.
• STS University courses will take place on Sunday morning instead of Wednesday.
• The Opening Session will be on Sunday afternoon and feature the Chamberlain Papers and Ferguson Lecture by Dr. Laurie Glimcher, who has made seminal discoveries in cancer immunology research.
• The Lillehei Lecture will take place on Tuesday and feature Dr. Eric Topol, a cardiologist and geneticist specializing in the use of artificial intelligence, "deep" data, and smart technology.
