Synopsis:
Digital technology for dental applications is expanding at a rapid rate with the proliferation of multiple new systems, materials and treatment workflows. Dr. Fasbinder has a unique ability to bridge the gap between scientific evidence and clinical application for practicing dentists. This presentation will focus attention on current systems with the aim to understanding their capability and clinical application for efficient implementation. Current scientific evidence on the clinical outcomes of these innovative workflows will be discussed with the intent to provide guidance for practice integration.

Objectives:
Attendees will:
• Understand digital impression systems and chairside CAD/CAM systems for in-office implementation as well as their advatages and limitations.
• Understand the diverse clinical applications for CAD/CAM technology in dental practice.
• Understand the ceramic materials used with digital techniques for both natural teeth and dental implants, and the current scientific evidence for their clinical application and longevity.
