The 9th Asia Pacific Chapter Meeting of International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (APCM-ISPD 2019) is organized by Congress Corporation and will be held from Sep 05 - 07, 2019 at Nagoya Congress Center, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.

The conference theme will be "Peritoneal Dialysis: Recent Advances and Enhancing Knowledge.”

Description:
Globally, new discoveries from both clinical and basic research are being published on almost a daily basis. The Peritoneal Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (PDOPPS) is investigating variations in and issues related to peritoneal dialysis (PD) worldwide, and the Standardized Outcomes in Nephrology (SONG)-PD initiative is making progress in establishing core outcomes in clinical studies. In Japan, clinical data is being amassed on hybrid therapy [PD + hemodialysis (HD)]. Research on peritoneal pathology is also ongoing and has led to new discoveries. The PDOPPS has also raised awareness of peritonitis and other issues.
