The 10th Annual Phoenix Fetal Cardiology Symposium is organized by Phoenix Children's Hospital and will be held from Nov 07 - 11, 2019 at The Scottsdale Plaza Resort, Scottsdale, Arizona, United States of America.
Who should attend:
Physicians, including pediatric cardiologists, maternal fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, neonatologists, radiologists and geneticists; as well as sonographers, nurses, and other paramedical colleagues and trainees are encouraged to attend.

The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson designates this live activity for a maximum of 34 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Pre-conference:
Pre-conference tracks are offered on Thursday, November 7, 2019. One of the newest tracks is designed with sonographers in mind, focusing on prenatal cardiac echocardiographic screening of congenital heart defects. As an extended, hands-on scanning learning session, sonographers will have the opportunity to scan actual patients alongside course faculty.
Description:
The 10th Annual Phoenix Fetal Cardiology Symposium is a four-day conference that will discuss important concepts in congenital heart disease as well as the most recent advances in imaging, diagnosis and management of fetal cardiac abnormalities. Several lectures will focus on the emerging specialty of fetal therapeutic intervention and the related cardiac implications. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit and present scientific abstracts focused on fetal cardiac disease as well as challenging cases of fetal cardiac disease. Breakout workshops including 3-4D echo volume manipulation, hands-on scanning of cardiac and extra-cardiac lesions, and Doppler assessment techniques are planned.
This symposium has been designed for physicians including pediatric cardiologists, maternal fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, neonatologists, radiologists, geneticists as well as sonographers, nurses, and other paramedical colleagues and trainees.
