The Gordon Research Seminar on Physical Virology is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

"Progress in science depends on new techniques, new discoveries, and new ideas, probably in that order”, according to Nobel Prize winner Sydney Brenner. Enveloped in this mantra, the Physical Virology GRS in 2019 will assemble presentations and posters from junior scientists targeting method development, uncoating the secrets of viral structure and function, and integrating these findings into applications of viruses or virus-inspired materials. The seminar will be capped off with a panel featuring career guidance from influential mentors in diverse areas including academia, science communication, and industry.
