Course Objectives:
• Use the evidence-based information and the multiple learning tools presented in the comprehensive clinical course to evaluate and formulate changes to their current practice patterns (treatment, management and/or promotion of women’s health)
• Recognize and employ the current practice guidelines developed by ACOG, other national medical organizations and government institutions regarding obstetrics, gynecology and its multiple subspecialty areas (maternal fetal medicine, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, genetics, reproductive endocrinology and infertility) in order to effectively treat, manage and promote women’s health.
• Evaluate clinical problems in obstetrics and gynecology presented in interactive, case-based scenarios and demonstrate an understanding of appropriate clinical management.
• Apply increased knowledge of obstetrics, gynecology and its subspecialties in order to receive specialty board certification and/or continued maintenance of certification.
