Program Overview:
NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical C enter’s Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation (CLDT) experts offer extensive experience diagnosing and treating all forms and stages of liver disease in adults and adolescents. They assess and treat liver disease with standard medical therapy, investigational protocols, and surgical therapy. In addition, they serve as a primary transplantation center. The overall goal of the activity is t o learn about commonly encountered liver disease in adolescents and to understand the causes, signs, symptoms,risk factors, screening, as well as, innovative approaches to treatment and long-term management. The format of this program will consist of lectures and interactive discussion based on the overall goal of pediatric liver disease and transplantation.

• Understand state of the art management of pediatric liver transplant
• Discuss history and current applications of pediatric living donor liver transplantation
