Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course by AIEME (Dec 20, 2019)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course is organized by Associates in Emergency Medical Education (AIEME) and will be held on Dec 20, 2019 at Shriners Hospitals for Children - Tampa, Tampa, Florida, United States of America.

Course Description:
This 12 hour course is designed for those attending PALS for the first time or those not regularly treating pediatric patients. Topics include recognition strategies for prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. Skills include management of airway, electrical therapy, IV/IO access, pharmacology and rhythm management. 

Morning sessions include video, small group, and instructor-led lectures. Afternoon sessions focus on hands-on skills/practice sessions. Megacode and written exams are held at the conclusion of the course.
