Oncology of Later Life Study Day is organized by The Christie School of Oncology and will be held on Jul 19, 2019 at The Christie School of Oncology, Manchester, England, United Kingdom.
Target Audience:
Medical, clinical and surgical oncologists, geriatricians, specialist nurses, GPs, allied health professionals, community hospital teams and junior doctors (foundation, core and specialist trainees).
Conference Description:
This conference will raise awareness of geriatric oncology conditions, increase confidence in assessing older patients and identify a way of building resilience within this patient population.
This teaching will be delivered through a varied programmed of speaker presentations in the morning. An interactive MDT will take place after lunch and participative workshops will follow.
The day will provide the opportunity to meet all members of the multi-disciplinary team with the aim of building a support network to further improve patient care for the elderly patient.
