Conference Description:
Enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy plays an important role in the treatment of malnutrition both in the inpatient and outpatient sectors. Particularly in the transition from inpatient to outpatient care, a good transfer of information makes sense in order to guarantee a consistent quality of nutritional therapy. The training concept of the nutrition expert addresses both outpatient and inpatient target groups. The set-up is modular to give participants the opportunity to deepen the necessary knowledge adapted to their work environment. 

The event will begin with a basic module on malnutrition, enteral and parenteral nutrition. In addition, elective modules on the topics of short bowel, oncology, intensive care / diabetes / wound and implementation of nutritional management can be booked. The pool of speakers is a mix of dieticians, nurses, specialists and other experts. After participating in the basic module and 2 elective modules, the certificate "nutrition expert" can be obtained with a certificate.
