Medical Cannabis was legalised in Australia in November 2016. The global legal cannabis market is expected to grow to over US$20 billion by 2020. There is good clinically-trialled evidence that it may be of benefit in Chronic Pain, MS, Nausea in Cancer related Chemotherapy and Drug Resistant Epilepsy. The TGA has also approved prescriptions for PTSD and Autism symptoms.

Dr Ben Jansen

Clinical Director of Cannabis Doctors Australia and CDA Clinics. CDA Clinics is a doctor-led, Australian company with a focus on educating doctors and assisting patients in getting approval for safe and affordable medical cannabis. The company was founded in 2016 by Dr Ben Jansen. Dr Ben has been an advocate and educator of medical cannabis for number of years. Dr Ben is one of Australia's leading prescribers of medical cannabis, working full time in this role.

Dr John Teh - Dr Teh's Tumeric
An avid organic farmer and permaculture expert, natural health enhancement has always been a top personal priority for Dr Teh. Coming from a surgical family, Dr Teh has also settled within the surgical fields as assistant surgeon to many surgical specialities.  Working within the Surgical industry for the past 15 years, Dr Teh aimed to produce a product that could work as preventative health measure with the aim of clients becoming proactive in their and their families health. “It’s about Full Health”

Blaise Bratter
Operations Australia at MGC Pharmaceuticals LTD
Blaise has been General Manager for the Medical Cannabis industry peak body as well as Chief Development Officer for a Medical Cannabis consultancy.  He has also worked as Policy and Research Officer, an Environmental Scientist, a QMS Officer for Cardno Water & Environment department and has experience with ISO19001, Quality Assurance & Control and Health & Safety.

Jason Jordan - Prescribed Patient
Jason was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis 3 years ago. He was deteriorating fast and had reached the point of being unable to walk without an aid.  Short-term memory loss, balance issues, numbness, double-vision, insomnia, cognition impairment, anomic aphasia, peripheral & trigeminal neuralgia all became part of daily life because conventional medicines did very little to help. Jason was the first patient in WA to receive Medical Cannabis and says that it changed his life.
