Description:
The practice of “Good Head and Neck Surgery” is at a variance in many parts of the world. Standardization of good surgical techniques throughout the world, adhering to the principles of Surgical Oncology is crucial.

With that focus, IFHNOS introduces a new program of Master Courses in Operative Techniques in Head and Neck Surgery. This Conference will consist of lectures , panel discussions and debates on controversial topics, cadaver dissections (with sequential operative steps and videos of proper operative techniques) given by international  experts  and local specialists in the field of managing Head and Neck Oncology patients – in a 4day program. 

The focus of this program would include all the Head and Neck subsites with emphasis on ChemoRadiation and Surgical Principles (oncologic, safe and clean surgical techniques) on proper  management of  the Head and Neck Oncology patient. The surgical procedures most commonly shown would be neck dissection, thyroidectomy, parotid surgery,  laryngectomy and other demonstrable surgical procedures in the head and neck.

Exposing head and neck surgery trainees and ‘eager young specialists’ to good techniques in Head and Neck Surgery, sharing experiences and wisdom of world leaders and established teachers of head and neck surgery, will have a huge impact in uplifting head and neck cancer care and on the patients they serve.
