Infection Control for the Dental Office 2019

Infection Control for the Dental Office is organized by University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine and will be held on Jan 19, 2019 at UNLV School of Dental Medicine, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is designed to provide the NSBDE required training for dentists and hygienists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 4 CE Credits.

Conference Description :
Infection control guidelines as developed by the CDC will be addressed. Participants will review the scientific evidence about dental infection control issues and current CDC recommendations for minimizing the potential for disease transmission in the dental setting.

Conference Objectives are :
• Describe universal and standard precautions.
• Identify and describe disease transmission and infectious hazards in the dental setting.
• Discuss occupational exposures and prevention, post-exposure management and prophylaxis to bloodborne pathogens.
• Establish objectives, goals, and management of an infection control program in the dental setting.
